Job Description
A challenging career path, taking a skilled person to the next level in the AV industry . Candidates must have a strong ability for problem solving and the ability to develop a logical understanding of how systems are integrated both in the hardware and software aspects . Multiple disciplines are needed in order to grasp the overall concept of a system and its programming architecture. A core understanding of programming languages in general will be essential to the development of this role. A good understanding in networking technologies, including configuration and troubleshooting would be a clear advantage.
The candidate will need to be well presented in a client facing capacity and have the ability to convey their knowledge of a system to clients, both internally and externally. Tailoring their communication to other people's knowledge base is essential.
The candidate will need to approach tasks with an adaptable mentality and would at first learn the initial skills in Crestron programming. It is expected that these skills will be used in a project deployment and testing environment, giving hands on experience with the company's product philosophy. Their knowledge in this field will then start to focus on thecandidates coding ability, as language.
Third party applications on mobile devices are also part of the company's development process and can offer a candidate the chance to use and improve JavaScript and Swift skills.
Skills Required
Potentially a graduate in computer programming or similar giving the core skills to understand languages such as C, C# and JavaScript.
AV experience in general or at least a keen interest in the field of Integrated AV.
